Can't Talk. In The Zone.

I want to go for a multi-purpose speaker system. I want to use this for pc/laptop, DVD/Blueray player and may be for LCD tv. Currently i dont have playstation but might get one someday. So primarily, my use is Movies(mostly dvd rips) and Music(mp3, acd, flac).
Now, I want a decent set - may be 2.1 or 5.1.
I had originally selected logitech z906 but after having seen so many negetive comments, i am confused. I saw z623 also a good choice and has good reviews.
I am at Orissa and Edifier doesnt have service station here, so it may not be wise for go for that. Here, post sale service is an issue. LOGITECH & Altec, Creative only provide service at Orissa.
