Decent laptop under 40K

Asking for a cousin who isn't tech savvy

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
INR 40K

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

• Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen
• Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen [preferred]

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Nothing intensive. Usual movies, internet, etc

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
None

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Dell (Their extended warranty has saved me a few times), Lenovo, HP
b. Skeptical: Acer (haven't heard good words for them)
c. Can look towards Asus, don't know how their service is.


6) Anything else you would like to say?

• Decent ccooling
• Should perform for at least 2 years
• Purchase place: Preferably offline; Bangalore, India. Can look online as well, not really biased.

Check this review,commented screen quality is poor but this being a subjective matter I strongly suggest watching this & above model personally in a showroom.
