Data Recovery

Recenly, i was having probs installing windows so i repartitioned my harddisk. Then i formatted the drives viz. (c,d,e,f)
Then i installed winxp on d drive.
Now my e: and f: are empty fat32 partitions
I have to recover my data on e: and f:
so are there any good recovery tools.
I would rather prefer free tools over sharewares
I have not copied nething on these drives after foratting.
The softwares provided by digit in this months dvd are unable.
So please suggest some good softwares

Repartitioned and formatted?
Say good-bye to your data. I don't think any application will help you in here. What was the need of repartitioning?

as long as it wasnt a full format u have good chances of recovering ur data

hey guys
thx for the replies
i was successful in recovering my data
i used the following 2 softwares
1. Recover My Files
2. File Scavenger

The tragic part goes here
File scavenger recovered my e: data as it is
But file scavenger did not recover my d: a f: data at all
RecoverMyFiles recovered my data on d: and f: but all my directories and file names were gone and half the files were unreadable
But still i got my data back

Dont post ur posts in unrelated threads. Try to search for similar problems or open a new thread.
Or chances r that ur problems won't be solved.
