I have a Home UPS 800va of Crompton Greaves LINK WHICH WORKS FINE FOR THE LAST 2 & HALF YRS.. Due to lightning it started malfunctioning from 25th Sept.. I lodged a complain through their website. Next i shoot a mail also to their Corporate guys regarding the misbehavior by one of the Outlet Service centres. So the manager coordinated with me and send a technician today only. The guy is very efficient and had travelled 60 kms just to attend this emergency case and fix the problem in a minute. Fortunately nothing happens to the internal circuit board, only the system gets hanged. He released the positive node from the battery and rejoined it. That's it. All this is free of charge even the product has passed the warranty life. It was just a gesture from their end .
