cpu throttles 100% while watching online flash content

Hi guys,

I am using Compaq Presario V4000 laptop. It's been observed that when I visit sites with flash content with videos/straming, cpu usage starts increasing and mostly reaches 80-100%.
And if in this state for 5+ mins, laptop shuts down!
Suggestions I got so far is
1) cleaning of latop fan, heat sink (did, no change)
2) flash plugin upgrade (did, in fact I tried all browsers)
3) dump laptop and buy new (well, not doable at this time )

config:
Windows XP Home, Pentium M 1.73 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Intel 915 GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset
let me know your thoughts on this.

Seems like CPU can not handle flash, high definition content.
Anyway, still it's good for casual word processing and internet browsing.
