CPU Cooler

Right off the assembly line
I have a rig with MSI 970A-G46 motherboard with AMD FX8320, 8Gb Ram with a Nvidia GT630 GPU in a Xigmatek Recon Case. During normal use my CPU shows a temperature about 65C but while playing games like Castlevania it shoots upto 70C and the stock cooler fan sounds as if a jet is about to take off. I have two 120mm(one in front and one in back) and one 140mm fans on the side of the cabinet.
I want to buy a new cpu cooler and have zeroed in on Antec C40, as I want to buy a cooler with LED fans.
Can anybody tell me if this cooler is worth the money or not and whether it will fit my motherboard or should I go for another one, my budget is about 2k.

There must be a software which comes with the Motherboard DVD for controlling the different CPU tweaking. In the Fan control mode, there must be a profile selector for the CPU fan speed control. Select the highest one. In case of Asus motherboard, the highest mode is Turbo. You can create a new profile also based on CPU usage and Fan speed.

There is a software called Control Center, but at its highest it still gives the same temperature as mentioned above in my main post. My main problem is the temperature and the noise the stock cooler makes.

Ya, the fan is noisy but the temperature is little high. I myself have FX-8350 and the temperature is around 30 to 35 degree now a days when the Temperature in BBSR is 42 degree C. Looks like there might be an issue with the thermal paste applying method over the CPU. If you can increase the budget a little bit then Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO should b your choice.

Sorry for the hijack, but I am also little worried about my CPU temperature. Cilus would not be CPU temperature higher than ambient?
