Core i5 2500k + mobo

I want to buy Core i5 2500k and overclock it at least to 4.5 ghz so Which is the motherboard suggested within 9k range and What is the cost of i5 2500k?

Most good motherboards, P67 series that is, cost at least 10-14k, including Gigabyte UD3 B3 or higher or Asus P67 B3 or higher or MSI P67 GD65 B3 or higher.

The initial H67(B2) mobo had a problem that specifically affects the motherboard's SATA controller, causing onboard SATA ports to degrade over time and possibly reduce performance of hard drives, optical drives, and other SATA-driven devices.

This chipset prob was rectified and intel released their new chipsets as B3 revised...

So look for B3 rev mobos....

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3 for 9.5k is bang for buck.
the Intel DP67BG at 8.5k is also very nice board but availability is problem.
