Convert old sony 40 inch lcd tv to smart tv
i have sony bravia model KDL- 40BX

i want to convert it into smart tv
i have rca cable i can connect yellow cable but mine hdmi is not working

is Raspberry Pi good for it

Buy a Amazon Fire TV Stick for 4k or A95X (2gb ram, 16gb internal) from gearbest for 37$ (~2.5k)
You would need working HDMI port. There is no other way to "convert" your TV to smart one otherwise.

Try to repair HDMI port and use Chromecast or Firestick.

There was another thread on this forum which talked about Android on Pi. You can Google the same as well. But, I don't know it will be of any use without HDMI port.

TELL ME done via raspberry pi only . it dont need hdmi port i think

I don't think AV output would support 1080p resolution. Seriously, get that HDMI port fixed. Don't buy a pi for the sole purpose of trying to convert your tv to "smart" one.
