Connecting xBox360 with monitor

1) What connectivity ports are must required in a FullHD monitor to be able to connect xBox with it (audio+video)?

2) What connectivity ports are must required in a FullHD monitor to be able to connect DTH with it (audio+video)?

3)Will above work without turning PC on?

We have three types of cables to connect xbox to hd tv or computer monitors.
1. Xbox 360 HDMI Cable.
2. Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable.
3. Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable.

For sound there are two options: connect it to your pc thorugh the line-in of your pc sound card or directly to speakers using game console adapter(these Y cables comes with speakers not with xbox cables that you buy).
