Let's take it step by step. Which OS are you using?
You said
In previous one I gave ip address and default gateway details in the "properties-internet protocol - properties" of LAN
How did you open Properties in the first computer? Exactly what do you mean when you say that you are not getting such options in the new computer?

I cannot see the picture you posted. The forum seems to be having problems with images uploaded this way. You can upload it to a free upload site like *s3.supload.com and post the link here.

To open network settings, open Control Panel.
If it's set to Classic view, go to Network Connections;
Right-click Local Area Connection and select Properties.

If Control Panel is in Category view, go to
Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections;
Right-click Local Area Connection and select Properties.

Another route:
Open My Computer, click My Network Places in the left-hand panel, then click View Network Connections (left-hand panel again)

Check Device Manager to see if your network card driver is installed.
Right-click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager
Look at the "Network adapters" entry in the list. Can you see it? What does it say? Does it have a yellow question mark or some other mark?
