Hiiee...am gonna buy a Desktop within this week....so please chk my config n tell me if there is ne better alternative......
How is this config??
Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 3.0Ghz(Conroe E8400)=Rs. 10,300/-
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R=Rs. 8000/-
MONITOR CRT:Viewsonic=Rs. 5000/-
UPS:=Rs 1500/-
Mouse + Keyboard: Logitech=Rs. 700/-
Speakers: Creative Inspire 2.1=Rs. 1900/-
Cabinet:=Rs.1600/-
RAM:Transcend @ 2x1GB=Rs. 1800/-
HDD:Seagate SATA 200GB=Rs. 2300/-
DVD RW:Liteon @ 20X=Rs. 1400/-
Power Supply:=Rs.2000/-

leave the graphics card n monitor....am prefer a CRT over LCD...my budget is 36 K....please dont exceed the budget...Thanks in Advance...

i think a abit ip35 pro mobo will be better...lcd's are improving and ghosting is a thing of the past , reconsider that.
the poweer supply u need will depend on the g-card u buy.
rest are ok .. buy transcend/kingston 800mhz.if u plan on higher OCing consider corsair.

one thing i will suggest is to go for 17' TFT a Viewsonic will cost arround 8000RS.

Well its good but as sagargv mentioned abit ip35 pro is better but it doesn't have onboard video as DS2R have.
Also u can save some money by buying abit IP-35-E and buy any low end graphics card if you don't have one!
