Back to School Mr. Bean !
RAM faults give a single long beep. The 3 beeps sounds like a display problem. Try removing your AGP/VGA card and re-inserting it.

thts a perfect symptom of faulty ram wich happens commonly these days due to moisture as a reult of monsoon.....try cleaning the ram modules...also, if u hav 2, it s quite possible dat 1 of them must have bcum dead...so remove 1 at a time and test...all d best

I removed my 7300gs and a 1gb module and it booted up fine. Tried using the faulty ram on single channel and same error. Even graphics card. I guess both have gone kaput.:(
