Computer Restarts after some time

config of recently assembled pc

Amd x2 3800+
ASUS M2A-VM
1 GB 667 MHZ RAM
160 GB SATA HDD
Driver Installed : ATI Catalyst 7.3
Zebronics Antibiotic cabinet
Navtech 500w SMPS
windows xp

My problem is that system restarts after 10-15 minutes after i turn it on and sometimes system remains on but there s no display after 10-15 minutes. Temp indicated on cabinet is around 31 c. Also DVD playback is not smooth.
Plz help me troubleshoot this problem because vendor from which i assembled this is far away(that will be last option). I know the problem is small.

pls search before posting, there r some posts for this kind of problem - have u tryed to re-assamble ur pc parts ? try to re-connect the smps & ram

try turnin off the automatic restart option...in case its a software bug

No I recently installed windows on the system.

is your 1GB ram single or 512x2? Sounds like a failing RAM

RAM filed bro.Change the ram and google it probably it will urn up something

I think this problem is due to graphics driver because today i done my whole work in vista ( no graphics driver is installed in vista) n there was no such problem. So i will try earlier driver than 7.2
