download this file *rapidshare.de/files/1390028/Bass_Test_-_20kHz_to_20Hz.mp3.html
(100% legal) and dont forget to turn off any equalizer/ enhancements to your audio outputs
this track has pure frequencies from 20Hz to 20 kHz, if u observe a volume drop... it means your spk cannot handle that frequency.
also notice that all non-cone woofers fail in the 20Hz section.

note: to download...click the link... then click on "Free" button... move to the bottom of the page and select "save target as".

lookout for the volume drops in some freq.. but i think, almost all Non-cone woofers can't create the "Real" frequencies.. i mean my frnd have Altec Lancing spks and the output in the last 3-4 seconds was same....
my 4 yr old B & W's sound way better

Cool. Just tried them with my Sennheiser headphones. Don't wanna risk waking the neighbours, so will wait till daybreak to test my speakers.

I've seen CD's of these test tones for sale at audiophile shops overseas.

Let the music play.....
Tried it on my ATP3 sounds were different everytime the next bar went up. I love the effect the spectrum analyser shows when the file's played :)
