Check my Rig for designing work

Hi Guys,

I am buying a 'basic' PC for my Photoshop work- simple graphic design and web design and internet browsing.I will not do gaming or any other CPU heavy work

except for photoshop.


I don't need monitor, UPS and mouse/keyboard

I have assembled items from flipkart and will buy in EMI from there ( even if price is little higher, can't afford in cash now).

Here is my config and related flipkart links. Total comes out to Rs 18,000.
If you think there is better processor + mobo, I can extend my budget by 5k or you can also suggest a GPU within 5K ( only if improves photoshop and overall

computing speed drastically)

Also suggest if my other items in rig are ok for my needs, Thanks this is a great forum.

Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win xp or Win 7 64 bit

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No, not needed.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor, UPS and keyboard/mouse.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Immediatly

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: By assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: From flipkart on EMI. Kinldy give direct links to flipkart items, i will buy.

I filled thef orm but it didn't show up.

Anyways here is my list from flipkart itself, total comes out 18,000. Please suggest if my processor + mobo combo is alright or there can be other better solutions as well. I can extend my budget max to 23k
