A. 5MP, LED Flash, Front facing camera optional

7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A. Android preferable because of more games and apps of play store.

8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.
A. 3G + Wifi

9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
A. Flash, Swype, GPS, Accelerometer, etc

A. Gionee M2. Just no idea about its service center review.

A. Big battery backup required. Really can't deal with this half day charging stuff. Am already tired of my Motorola Defy, feels like thrash due to backup.

Gionee is a reputed Chinese company, but its presence is still limited, Huawei has better presence

Gionee M2 is better due to good build quality and their service center are available almost everywhere.

i keep seeing tdf members recommending Gionee brand. Is it really that good in this budget?What features are better other than the battery life? How is the support?

^Gionee build Quality is better or similar to tier 1 companies I don't know quality of Xolo phones now but I am a user of Q700 it is having buggy rom small issues like battery status problem,contacts problem.

What i have heard Support is pretty good from gionee.

I am suggesting gionee because if you face some problem with their rom they will fix it and provide you update which can't be said for indian brands.

Just fyi..I have been looking for a secondary phone for a budget of 10k or so...Now i know people would suggest the Moto G but this phone will be a secondary phone. Will this be a good option as a second phone?Basically need it for work and one of my requirements is good battery life. Which android version does it run??Are there any reviews available of this phone?Will there be future support?

Gionee M2 is the best battery performer till date. You can check gogi.in and YouTube for reviews.

There is just gogi's review on youtube...no one else..hence skeptical about it..No real life experience shared nothing..Many here say its the best phone for the price but aside from the battery life, what else is good from the competitors??Is it running 4.3 or 4.2?Will it get android kitkat update??Bug fixes?

What about xolo q1000

Xolo Q1000 is very old phone. Xolo Q1010 is better if you don't care about after sale service while gionee M2 is better in good audio quality,after sale service,build quality and battery.

unless powered by Qualcomm chipset, update or even custom rom chance is nil. Gionee E7 is stuck with Android 4.2 even though powered by Snapdragon 800. E5.5 launched with Android 4.2.

To be honest tier 1 companies too will not provide update with their budget phones So there is no reason to spend more for brand My Sony Tipo has serious audio routing issues even after reporting about this issue they do not do anything thank god someone in their forum suggested me to use soundabout software.
