CD Writting Problem...

My system configration is,

AMD AthlonXP 2400+
AMD Krypton Motherboard
40 GB Samsung Hard Disk
256 MB DDR RAM
SAMSUNG CD WRITTER
Nero 5.5 burning software
---------------------------------------

While writting the Datas to the CD,
the system shows the error named "Power Calibration Error", and says data verification is failed.

The CD gets dameged.

I'm not able to write any CD.

Find me a solution...

Try to use WinXP

You have not mentioned the operating System you r using. If you r WinXP user, try the XP's built in cd burning utility. Also Clean your cd lens and a further suggession is:Always use a re-writable disk instead of CD-R under these kind of scenarios. Also try to use different power cables from the smps.
