CD-R problem

my cd writer(SONY 52x) writes at only 48x speed when its written on the cover in the boc and the writer itself dat its speed is 52x.wats wrong???its pretty frustrating.please help me guys.i cant change it from nero cuz speed is only till 48x!!!!!!! :roll:

This happens when a lower quality media is used.
Try using good quality CD's.

n deepak_m, Even if it shows 52x ,it will Write CD's at 48x only.

Use a Sony CD-R(52 X) and then check the speed.
I hope their CD-R supports 52X writing.

his problem was that he cannot increase the speed in nero as it shows only till 48X. It will solve that problem, won't it?
