installed in my win 8 lappie.will it blow out my log in details if used or not as used for some websites

You can choose what you want to clean with CCleaner. The options of what to clean appear when you open the program...on the main window itself.It may remove Network Passwords,but I don't think it will remove log-in details..

what does network password mean

Network Password is -

The password used to log in to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) and the CPP wireless network.

CPP=Common Pass Phrase.

To be honest, I Googled the definition. If you are unsure about what it will change,leave it unchecked in CCleaner.

In CCleaner Options > Cookies, add the sites you want the login details to keep, to the 'Cookies to Keep'. This way your login details will not be removed on running CCleaner.
