Digital contents means DLC in here.

See slides 4, 5 & 13.

Also, those DmC sales have to hurt.

Update:

They are cancelling internal and external titles, sales forecasts cut all across the board, lots of outsourcing cancelled, profits halved etc.

The significant part is that Capcom says that they will push even more DLC and may scrap games that don't use DLC. And its not like Crapcom's DLC practices aren't extreme enough.

Well DLC were always there anyways and I don't buy them anyway. Doesn't matter to me. And you are talking about Capcom, look at EA's DLC policy.

Well, EA is a whole new level.

Capcom had on disc DLC, SFxT's gems etc. so when they say they will push it even more, it should be worrying. Next thing we know, they will lock away gear behind DLC in MH and provide better jumps, guns, lives etc. in Megaman and essential Monsters and stages in Resident Evil.

The point here is that even after you pay for a game Capcom will try to nickel and dime you. Just because it doesn't concern you, it does not mean it doesn't concern others, especially the completionists over here.

Unlike EA, Capcom still has decent franchises it has not run into the ground/is not running into the ground. (Okay, NFS is a franchise EA hasn't run into the ground yet).

Edit: Forgot to mention the 'not' :p

Like me. For me, it is important to have a complete game as much as possible.
