Your monitor's largest native res is 1080p.. The super resolution thing is a gimmick that adds an extra layer of filter to make it look like a jaggedy 1440p

actual 1440p monitors come at a price tag of Rs 40k +

so i can't increase resolution above 1080p? and what about refresh rate?

You can't increased resolution above 1080p "natively". I guess refresh rate is limited too I think. Just refer the guide which came with your monitor, it should mention the max frequency it supports.

I do not know what GamerKing9 is trying to achieve. When I go here (EW2740L - LCD Monitors - Products | BenQ India) and check it is mentioned that the resolution is Resolution (max.) 1920x1080

Super resolution is just a gimmicky name for upscaling. So it is just for displaying a 360p video full screen not for going beyond 1080p.
