Can't access whatsapp image folder..

..probably coz it has become really huge & has lots of images, when I try to open it via file manager on android & on pc, the window just hangs .. I can access it to a certaint extent using Settings>Storages> whatsapp images but it's too slow.. any way I can still access them?

I have 13k+ files in my whatsapp images folder on S9 plus and it opens up just fine.
As it is not opening on PC as well, it seems that slow read/write speed of your mobile's storage is the culprit.

Mediatek MT6750's performance isn't good when it comes to storage.
Seems like cleaning up your images folder is the only option here.

Try turning off the thumbnail view & check your phone free internal storage(system rom) as it may also be because of low storage unable to accommodate thumbnail db files being generated but unable to be saved while browsing that folder.
