cannot change memory in use nokia n81

Hello
My friend is using nokia n81 with 1 GB microSD card. Since last few days she's facing a problem while receiving data via bluetooth. Whenever she tries to receive something a message pops up "memory full Close some applications and try again." Her phone memory was full but there was 600 MB free space on memory card.

I tried changing Memory in use to Memory Card but couldn't. It first asks you to copy messages frm phone memory to memory card. If u select "no" process is aborted and if you select "yes" it starts copying but fails.
Please Help.

this prob mainly arises when the phone memory is completely filled.u sud avoid filling the fone memory.try this:
deleted some data from fone memory or move these data to mem card,then change the msg mem in use.u sud be able to do this now.

even if the problem persists then open phone in pc suite and transfer messages or
format phone memory

Deleting data from phone memory did not work.

try backup and hard format the phone(if it is possible).
