can i run in dual channel config

i have an asus A8N-VM mobo and an athlon64 3200+ procy. my comp supports dual channel config. what i want to know is:

1. my mobo has 4 ram slots - 2white and 2green. in which slots do i have to put the ram cards to run them in dual channel config?

2. my two ram cards are
Transcend 512mb 400mhz (2ranks, 4banks) 2.5-3-3-8
A-Data 512mb 400mhz (1rank, 4banks) 3.0-4-4-8
Can i run these two ram modules in dual channel config?

Latencies and make and model being different u may have problems running the 2 ram cards at once always buy ram cards of same make and model.Ur system may become unstable and u might face restarts when using memory hogging applications.

Intall the two in white slots or green slots for dual channel mode.ie in same color slots intall the two. Identical RAMs r preferred.
If its works fine then ok..wait for other menmbers reply.
RAM tweaking for same latencies ---dont know is it posssible or not..
