Right off the assembly line
Hi,
My PC's CRT monitor recently burnt up. The EHT (or FBT) is kaput.
Maybe I will get it repaired or get a new one.
But in the meantime, I am really getting desparate to take a backup of the PC's data.
The data is important. And I also need it immediately.
Is there any way to access the PC's harddisk from my laptop ?
My PC has Win XP Pro and Win 98 in dual-boot. And the laptop's Win XP pro.
When I looked up the net, it looks like in win XP you have to enable remote access and all
that. But with no monitor in the PC, I can't do it now.
But what about Win 98 ?
My pc's booting fine otherwise. Because I remember the keyboard shortcuts around windows, I
can (and do) listen to MP3s.
