I am not able to enable the "DMA" mode for my dvd writer. So, it takes abut an hour or so to copy a single dvd, and no work is possible for that.

My system: P4(2.66), 256Ram, LG dvd writer, Intel Original Board.
Windows XP Professional SP2.

Please help me. I am not able to do it from "nero's" dma manager.

In Device Manager, double click primary or secondary IDE channel to which your drive is connected and in "Advanced Settings", select "DMA if Available" and click OK.

3. Select the appropriate IDE channel (Primary or Secondary). To get to the IDE Channel Properties window, either double-click the channel, or right-click the channel and then click Properties, or select the channel and click Action -> Properties in the menubar.
