Buying desktop @75000

I want to buy a new desktop in a few days time probably a week or two.
So please suggest me a good config.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Some gaming + multimedia etc. want a powerful pc to play the games like need for speed series mostly. NFS is my favorite.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:75000

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 8.1 with many linux virtual machines using virtualbox(will be running one machine at a time)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1 TB if possible a hybrid drive would be great. have a hitachi 500 gb drive which contains data which I would like to attach to my new pc as secondary drive.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Yes. would like to have a FHD(1920*1080) 20" to 22"

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:I will be buying everything new

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:within a week or two max

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:By an assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:I am from ludhiana punjab. Would be buying locally. don't want to buy online.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:would prefer a nvidia gpu. also would like to have a motherboard with sata ports for attaching 3 or 4 hdds(no ssds) same for psu.

Also I was thinking of buying a laptop a few days back
I posted a thread about that in laptop section but changed my mind as I was going to use the laptop as desktop replacement. So decided to buy a desktop instead.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

^Good rig but id like to suggest a variation
Everything same as above,
just swap 4770 for i5 4440 and get a R9 280X instead (or GTX 760)
Big bump in performance IMO, i7s wont give as big of a performance bump as a i5 + 280X will

If you want only nvidia GPU then go with this: Zotac GTX660 2GB -13,600.

R9 270x in a 75k rig? -.-

OP should go with this

FX 8350 - 12.5k
Asus M5A97 R2.0 - 6.5k
Sapphire R9 290 Tri X - 32k
AOC I2369 - 10k
HyperXFury 2x4GB - 6.5k
Seasonic S12II 620W - 5.5k
WD Blue 1TB - 3.6k
Corsair 300R - 4.5k

TOTAL~79k

You are buying locally so all should come within 75k. you can try WD Black ~5.5k four a premium HDD.

If you have to buy an UPS and KB&M too then go with this rig

FX 8350 - 12.5k
Asus M5A97 R2.0 - 6.5k
Sapphire R9 280x - 22k
AOC I2369 - 10k
HyperXFury 2x4GB - 6.5k
Seasonic S12II 620W - 5.5k
WD Blue 1TB - 3.6k
Corsair 300R - 4.5k
APC 1100VA - 4.5k
Logitech G300 - 1.6k
Logitech G105 (KB) - 2.5k

+1 to this. just replace RAM with HyperXFury and AOC i2369VM instead of i2269VM.

OP can also buy a good gaming KB&M that I suggested.

Are you guys kidding? LOL!

The official poster has nowhere suggested that he wants a hardcore GAMING RIG. He merely said "i play Need for Speed". Now for playing NFS, you don't need any of those superexpensive Rs.20,000 or 30,000 worth cards. A GPU model worth 12k is enough for NFS.

Also, he stated he wants to use this machine for running VMWARE on Windows 8.1(this itself requires atleast Intel i7 series quad-core with Hyperthreding enabled processor). Core i5 will die on VMWARE.

Come on guys, re-read OP and re-configure. I mean 22,000 worth Graphics card on a Intel processor worth 11,000 ? This is Hilarious! LOL

he said a powerful PC to play games like NFS. NFS is OP's favorite but its not the only game that he'll play. Whichever genre of game may be played, all new games require a GPU like R9 280x to run at ultra @1080p.
