Buying Advice for Router

Guys.. I have a 4 mbps Meghbela cable connection and want to buy a router for mobile gaming, browsing and downloading ... The questions I have are -

1) Should I buy a N150 router or a N300 router .. I want the network on the first floor too. How much does the range increase from a N150 to a N300, what are the other benefits. (I have two walls in between each room)

2) If I should buy a N150 or N300 router which one should I buy ? TP-Link/D-Link or Asus ?

N300 won't give better range, it just provides increased bandwidth among connected devices, and 150 mbps is sufficient imho.

I have the TP Link WR841 300 mbps router, I can access WIfi across 4 walls but its not simple to specify, there are many factors affecting signal strength, most routers of different companies give similar range, It's upto you to place the router in an ideal position so that you have maximum access throughout the house.
