Hello Friends,
Please help me to buy a PC for my office....

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Will run Tally, MS Office and to a little extent, Corel Draw and Photoshop
Some resource hungry customized programs developed in Dot Net,
Continuous internet usage will be there
No gaming at all
----------------------------------------

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: INR 50,000/- max stretchable up to INR 55,000/-

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 and Windows 8

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 120 GB SSD and 500 GB Regular SATA hard disk is enough

----------------------------------------
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, screen size: 19" to 20"

----------------------------------------
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

there is a wholesale shop in sadashiv peth (behind some college) in pune. I am not able to recall the name, that will give you authentic and relatively cheap prices for some of the components.

That mobo only supports up to 1600mhz. 1866 overclocked. So that RAM would be wasted.

I'd recommend he get the Asus Z170P. I love the quality of Asus boards.

I also think that PSU is overkill if he isn't getting a GPU. 400w-450w should be more than enough.

Thank you friends for your replies. I am still not able to decide about PSU. Can anybody please suggest me on this?
Also, is Seasonic having their service center in Pune?
Please also suggest me a lower priced model for Monitor.

check Tom's hardware psu tier list for good psu. any psu from tier 1 and tier 2 level is good. seriously don't skimp out on good psu after all, all your costly pc components depend on it.
