Business Laptop recommendation for a friend.

- Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen
- Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

MS Office work. Documents and presentations. Research into current business trends. Open 30+ tabs and keep track of current business.
Occasional movie watching.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

i3/i5 (7th or 8th Gen), 8 GB RAM, win 10, 1 TB HDD, backlit keyboard

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

a. Like: Lenovo, Toshiba, Dell

6) Anything else you would like to say?

- Battery back up - extended (5-7hrs) )
- Basic GPU will do. Won't be gaming of any sort in the laptop.
- Should be aesthetically good looking. Preferably a metal body.
- I won't be changing my laptop for at least 4 years.

Buy this laptop, preferably on upcoming sale. Don't buy the i7 model, not worth the money as not a big performance improvement.

I will highly recommend you to buy an M.2 SSD for it. Even 120GB is enough for OS & other applications.

This is a cheap 120GB SSD, not so good write speeds, but good read speed which will help everything load faster, laptop boots up within 30s instead of 1-2min, chrome will open in 2s instead of 10+s compared to when running from HDD.
