Hi,

I have been asked to suggest a cheap PC for a office .

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Strictly OFFICE stuff ie. Spreadsheet, MS word etc.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 10K max

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Probably they will install Windows 8.1 or 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Min 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No, they already have 19 inch HD Monitor

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor / UPS

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: As soon as its finalized

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Depends , will assemble if required.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Online preferred

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Its should be atleast 4GB RAM

It's pretty much impossible to recommend any new pc components in that total budget. Good CPU+ Mobo alone will cost 10k if you are lucky.

you can build a pc , but don't expect performance then and there may be slowdowns..

Gigabyte mobo + onboard CPU Celeron J1800 - 4.3k
ram 4gb - 2200
hdd - 3,000
local case and PSU - 1000

2nd option r if you increase your budget slightly 2-3k .. you can look into some entry level old AMD APUs those will be much better than above option .. or else go 2nd hand market
