Hey guys am looking to buy a new smartphone soon to replace my old Micromax A75. My budget is under 10k and I am open to both Windows Phone 8 and Android. I am only looking to buy branded smartphone and not Micromax,Karbonn,Xolo,etc.
1. Budget? Strictly under 10k
2. Display type and size? Screen size does matter though its should be atleast 3.2 inches and HVGA.
3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip? Touchscreen Bar phone
4. Preferred choice of brand? Samsung,Nokia,Sony,Htc. Not interested in LG and other non branded comapanies.
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type). Touchscreen.
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
Since i dont use the camera much having a good camera is not so important for me. Its ok if the phone does not have front camera , Led flash and Autofocus.
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc). Android and Windows Phone 8.
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly. 3G,Wifi,GPS,Bluetooth.
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)? Opera Mini,WhatsApp,a good video player that plays all types of files.
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc) Primary use will be surfing the internet lag free,downloading stuff,youtube,music, video watching and a little bit of gaming.
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? Samsung Galaxy Young, Sony Xperia E and Nokia Lumia 520.
12. Any other info that you want to share ? Dual while not a must, it will be a good feature to have. Young and E have dual sim variants while Lumia 520 does not but its not that important. Also i want to know if Young and Xperia E will be able to play videos of 480p and 720p ? I like to download free stuff a lot and it seems that Android has more free stuff on Play Store while most Windows Phone apps and games cost money ? Also i regularly use WhatsApp and Opera Mini is my preferred Browser and i think Windows does not have WhatsApp and Opera ? So thats also a problem . Please specify the best phone among these 3 and also suggest some others that fit my needs.
