I am looking to purchase a laptop entirely for gaming purpose only and want to take your expert suggestions before investing in it. M looking for laptop from 60 k to 1 lkh. Kindly suggest me some good tried and tested laptops with less heating problems and a good GUP which can run games like Assassin's Creed Oddessy and AC Valhalla at or above 60 fps. My bro has Acer Helios Predator with GPU RTX 2060 with i5 he got it for rs.90k last year during offer. So m also looking at GPU that is RTX 3060 and i7. kindly suggest.
Thank you in advance
Warm Regards

The configuration you mentioned is the acer predator helios 300 with i7 10870h and rtx 3060.
This unit currently retails for 109k-112k on flipkart. It was at 106k in the flipkart sale that ended may 14.
Please check Acer's website as well.

Can you please telle if Acer Predator Helios 300 with RTX 3060 and i7 is better or Asus TUF with RTX 3060.. it's more or less the same price point so which one would give me the best performance and have good thermals (temps) at the same time.

Helios 300, was 1.06L in the last big FK sale:
acer Predator Helios 300 Core i7 10th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/144 Hz) PH315-53 Gaming Laptop Rs.149999 Price in India - Buy acer Predator Helios 300 Core i7 10th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/144 Hz) PH315-53 Gaming Laptop Black Online - acer : Flipkart.com

Otherwise, this seems good:
ASUS ROG Strix G15 Ryzen 5 Hexa Core 5600H - (16 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti/144 Hz) G513QE-HN115T Gaming Laptop Rs.110990 Price in India - Buy ASUS ROG Strix G15 Ryzen 5 Hexa Core 5600H - (16 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti/144 Hz) G513QE-HN115T Gaming Laptop Eclipse Gray Online - ASUS : Flipkart.com

Avoid i5 11300H laptops as that i5 is a 4 core CPU & it bottlenecks 3060 a bit. For 3050Ti, 4GB VRAM kind of bottlenecks it at 1080p ultra in few rare cases but mostly in those cases you will likely not be hitting close to 60fps anyhow. So very high/high preset is good. Based on Asus website, it seems to be 80-95W 3050Ti, not the full power one. So will perform a bit inferior to old 1660Ti.

Wait for legion 5 budget options they should be arriving starting june 12.
The problem with the strix g15 is the 45% ntsc screen and the fact that the 3050ti ranges from 35w to 80w so which config has which variant of gpu becomes a big question.

Zephyrus g14 2021 has started showing up online if you are ok with 14 inch screen you can explore its configs.
Zephyrus g15 should also have a config with 3050ti showing up soon that can help with the heating issues in the g14 due to small form factor.

In Asus website, G15 has it mentioned as 80-95W for 3050Ti. 95W is with dynamic boost.
Performance numbers:
I'll say Intel's CPUs are still better CPU for gaming in laptops unlike desktops even against Ryzen 5000. IMO 8 lanes of PCIe 3.0 is hurting performance a bit for Ryzen, Intel always had PCIe 3.0 x 16 for dGPU, now has PCIe 4.0 x 16 with 11th gen H45.

I was referring to what this youtuber's warning about.

Asus hasn't yet list that exact model, but have listed other 3050Ti models. Considering G15 with 3060/3070 runs at 115W, 80-95W seems possible for 3050/3050Ti. The display is surely not great as it is a 62% sRGB one vs 100% sRGB in bit high end gaming laptops. But at least its 144Hz unlike the Omen. Waiting for reviews seem like a good option, but if RTX 3050/3050Ti are made to replace 1650Ti/1660Ti, then the pricing seems ok.

I'm expecting cheaper laptops with 50-60W 3050/3050Ti models to launch in future.

Won't 3050ti bottleneck 5900hx. And what is the difference between those 2 configs?
Msi has 3060 with 60+20 w in gf katana. 3070 is also 85w as we move up. Before gs66 and 76 the gpu dont see tgp increase in their lineup.
Lets see what models legion 5 pro is launching on june 12. They are going to be intels. Amd should arrive in july.

Obviously, 3050Ti + 5900HX is a stupid combo, even R5 5600H + 3060 will easily outperform that in games. But that's not the point.

MSI GF has historically used 60W Max Q parts. MSI GS might be using 80-90W part w/o dynamic boost, but the GE series should be using full-powered ones as GS is a thin laptop.
