Best DVD player for around 3k budget

Hi,
I am looking to buy a DVD player for around 3k.
I will use the player to view videos mostly on my TV which
is non-HD and also non LCD/LED.

Hence please suggest me as to which brand and model will be best.
Also I need to know what other things(compatible video file formats etc) to keep in mind
while buying a DVD player

@ Rajiv do you intend to watch VCD's as well. I think some of the DVD players that are available currently may/maynot be able to play VCD.
I think most of the brands these days are supporting USB Drive so you may be able to play most of the movies using your pen drive.
