Best Computer Configuration Using Phtoshop, Video & 3D's

Can any1 tell me what is the best Computer Configuration for Using Photoshop, 3D max, Avid Video Application, Maya etc. What could be it cost.

Best would be to get the AMD64 processor with a nForce 4 chipset or an intel with a 915 processor, minimum 512 MB RAM, if possible 1 GB RAM running in dual channel mode, a GFX card (whichever suits your budget) 120 SATA HDD. A system on such a config should be between 40-50 k or maybe more depending on the gfx card.

My Present Machine Configure is AMD64 3000+ ASUS A8N SLI DELUXE, 1GB (400Mhz) RAM with ASUS Geforce 6200 Turbo Cache GFX Card, 2x80GB SATA HDD but I don't feel more speed using it. It take ages to working on 500MB photoshop files at very high resolution. I have to wait If I give a filter Effect. I have a idea of going for a SCSI HDD & 4GB (400 Mhz) RAM to My mother Board coz it support Up to 4GB.

What i would recommend is the following:
1.> Get a dual cpu machine opteon 240/250
2.> Set up a SATA raid (Raid 0 ) with say three disks
3.> Try to get raptor HDD for the raid.
4.> increase RAM to 4GB Min
these changes will make the system fit for the heavy work and the responce you expect.
