Best Broadband/Fiber Internet provider in Mumbai

I live in Mumbai, my cable operator offers 5 Mbps only at rs 500, which I don't think is a very nice package. They say it does go to 10 Mbps but I guess after a limit, it will come to 5 Mbps. (I know the guy & his package seems to be cheap to lure people but speed is low) Any suggestions for a good ISP in Mumbai? I know there's Airtel, Hathway, Spectra & getway etc etc. Any particular parameters to look for before contacting them? Thanks

I'm curently using MTNL & get around 9-10 Mbps at Rs 800 which is also inclusive of landline..speed checked at 3 different websites

Don't take any package with FUP(aka speed goes down after crossing a certain limit of data transfer in GB) if your current MTNL plan is truly unlimited(which I doubt as nowadays even BSNL has a daily FUP just like 4g plans). Airtel has probably the best customer support but same issue of FUP though their FUP limits are higher I think. Hathway & Spectra are better known cable ISPs but their service quality depends on the cable operator who runs their network in your area & this is something only you/locals would know about.

Airtel has option for unlimited bandwidth by paying 300pm extra, at least in Bengaluru, so might have the same there. I have heard good about airtel & ACT (my current provider) in general, but ACT's rep was more responsive when I applied for a new connection, so got that installed even though I have 450GB FUP. But both of them are relatively expensive, airtel is like 800+300+taxes.

I have heard of several bad experiences of Hathway & Spectra, used Spectra for a few months when I was in Pune. It had random connection drops, not a good thing for online gaming. I used to face disconnection from games once every 2 days or so, which is huge IMO considering I don't play 24x7, so likely there are more drops.

Try to find local ISPs in your area. I knew a gamer from Mumbai who was using some local ISP which provided him 100Mbps unlimited for 800pm back in 2016. Sadly I can't name one.

Are there any truly unlimited ISPs in India? I use Tata broadband and it has an FUP where speed will slow down after 500GB, which is decent for my usage.

Local cable ISPs are usually unlimited in metro cities.e.g.I am using a 50mbps unlimited plan for ~410/month. I also know that ISPs like Hathway in Delhi have this system where officially plan is limited with fup but unofficially you can call the local hathway person who got your connection installed & he will credit your acc with 500gb data after you crossed the fup.

Any other good ISPs in Mumbai? My cable operator now offers 40MBPS at Rs 500, 60MBPS at Rs 700 & 100MBPS at Rs 1000. Any other better packages?? Also, not sure if it's really what he claims
