I want a phone for my dad preferably under 3k
1. Budget?

the bigger the better
3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip?
bar preferably although other types will also do.
4. Preferred choice of brand?
nokia, samsung and other MAJOR brands
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type).
basic numpad phone no touch,Qwerty etc
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
NO CAMERA( camera phone is not allowed in his office )
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
basic java platform, nothing bigger than that
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.
3G and wifi not necessary
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
nope
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)?
basic functions calling etc.
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
samsung lower ends.
12. Any other info that you want to share
since the phone will be used for primarily calling so battery backup should be good also the phone should not look plastic and cheaply build , all in all , A sturdy nice looking phone with good keypad and backup is my requirement (and nothing flashy)
