Leaks have come out from all four of the main gaming motherboard manufacturers ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI. As of right now there isn’t that strong of a lineup as Intel’s Z490 chipset.

The B550 chipset will retain the same AM4 socket that its predecessor, the B450 chipset, has. The most notable thing about the B550 is its support of PCIe 4.0 allowing for twice the bandwidth.
