Broken In
Hi guys,
I have a p4 2.9 ghz computer with an ASUS motherboard having 915GL chipset.
The system uses onboard audio.
System had automatic updates turned on. So last week it dqonloaded and installed updates.
After that the audio has become jittery. It is very irritating.
But when i run speaker test and audio test from the control panel there is no issues.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Audio Driver which was no use at all.
I tried doing a system restore.
Though the audio quality seems to be ok now, it still is jittery sometimes.
I came through this while doing the system restore
The Restore console had an automatic checkpoint created saying the following update was installed:
kb888111wxpsp2
What can be further done guys to make my PC audio better...?
