ATI Radeon card not functioning..

I've been using a ATI Radeon 9800Pro for about six months.but recently the fan mounted on the card not functioning,leading to hanging of computer and eventually shutting down..

Is there any way i can get a fan replacement...i live in chennai i spent two days roaming futile.ATI card was bought during my trip to Singapore ther.
the fan available here is not suitable...

Can somebody help me in the other cities..try to find a replacement..

dude i faced similar problem a year ago.
this is how i solved the prob
got a amd cpu fan, attached a L shaped clamp which was then screwed with heatsink of the graphics card(no contact bw fan and heatsink).

due to larger fan the card runs much cooler than was before with the inbuilt fan.

Have you tried local computer assemblers if they have any spare fans from old/non working cards. The R9800 Pro has a very common, 2 stud push pin design.

attach a processor fan to the heat sink with a thermal resitant paste.
connect the fans power connector to ur motherboard.
it works great and it keeps my card temp always less than 50c.
