Hi Friends,

I'm really in a big dilemma as I am stuck in choosing between these two laptop models

The Asus K55vm

core i7
8 Gb ddr3
720p screen
1tb hdd
gt 630m gpu

The Dell Inspiron 15r 7520

core i7
8 Gb ddr3
1080p screen (FHD)
1tb hdd
AMD Radeon HD 7730M

I was really lookin for a good high performance laptop after going through several laptops and a month long search ive narrowed down these two laptops and my initial budget was around 55k.

Im defenetly not into playing games and im not even a casual gamer, maybe i would play a little bf3 that too not often.
My definite need for a laptop would be multimedia.I have a canon DSLR that shoots decent 720p and 1080p videos and also some nice pictures and i really know my way around Sony vegas and adobe photoshop lightroom..also im also into audio production and need to run complex DAW (dig. audio workstations) like pro tools studio one etc..

Keeping all that in mind the asus k55vm only offers a 1366x768 resolution whereas the dell has a FHD resolution..My question is will it make any diffrence in editing photos or videos...the asus k55vm can play 40mbps HD videos meaning we can also edit them..does going for FHD makes that much of a diffrence..throw me some info on this friends...

Keeping these things in mind pls suggest me the best laptop friends..is it worth spending an extra 15k for the dell inspiron only for the FHD display and windows 8...

THANK YOU FOR PATIENTLY GOING THROUGH MY BRAGGING...PLS HELP ME OUT FRIENDS...

Its not just about the FHD screen and Win8, the 7730M is a lot better than the 630m so that also requires extra money. Since you'll be primarily using Sony Vegas and Photoshop, so the more efficient the graphic card the better it is for you.
Also, ASS of Dell is also way better than Asus!!

true, and GCN based AMD gpu's are said to have better performance in application like vegas than nvidia..
