[Query] ASUS Global Warranty

I would like to know if I purchase ASUS Motherboard from USA via EBay, will it be covered under manufacturer warranty here? The price is cheap there, the seller saying its covered under warranty by the ASUS, but I don't think so.

Please help.

As per ASUS India, they only provide Global Warranty on Laptop, all other products are falls into Local Warranty.
