Not fan of OP6....heard its not that great as previous OPs. And now its biggest USP - Price - is also under attack. Asus 5z has similar config (except for display) at lower price and LG has similar config but with IP68 rating and better camera (but smaller battery) at near identical price.

OP6 is actually a good device for 40k currently using 64GB versions only thing they could have improved is speakers speakers they are loud but of decent quality.
It is beautiful with stock android OS
Its fast and smooth
Battery is very good 13hrs of SOT with 3 days of battery life I don't play games on my phones
AMOLED display is very nice with DCI P3 color profile
Camera takes similar photos like Samsung S9 in day light only in very low light Samsung shoots good photos due to 1.5 aperture

LG G7 is not worth, they removed OLED display and Camera is not great as LG V30 plus but main problem with LG is their childish icons which makes this phone looks bad also updates are very slow in LG

I would that the advantage of OP6 over G7 is stock android & maybe the AMOLED (but G7 has a great IPS display, so won't be much of a difference to someone not used to AMOLED).

It's unfair to compare OP6 with S9. I compared my S8 against OP6 & S8 had better front & rear cam. Although its true that difference ain't visible in daylight but moving indoors resulted in more noise on OP6.

Battery life & camera might not be a big difference between G7 & OP6 but G7 has a wide angle lens which is convenient sometimes (checked it on a G6). Also not to forget the other small advantages like IP68, brand value, HDR display, USB 3.1, lighter & smaller footprint, even the drop resistance, MIL STD something.

Regarding icons, its android & custom UIs have a good theme engine nowadays. It isn't bad IMO.

I would say get Asus 5z or LG G7. OP6 doesn't make much sense if you aren't a stock android lover.

OP6T's launch is near and also Asus 5z is receiving major updates especially for its camera department. I think I should wait for these events before deciding. As far as I see from the comments above - LG G7 should be avoided.

And now Poco F1 has opened another door....Confusion!!

You can get the 21k/24k priced Poco F1. You will just get an inferior low light camera due to lack of OIS, otherwise, it is a very good device. The plastic back ain't premium but it is more practical than glass.

You can check YT reviews. Most of them are of the opinion that OP6 has better low light cam than G7 ThinQ

First of all,Hi guys...polupoka here....after long time missed you all!
I chose this thread for a reason! When I was confused I didnot think of this forum and well its my bad.

I had used OP3,OP3T,OP6(bro has),POCO F1 armoured edition(bought on 2nd sale..returned due to screen bleeding and got refunded),6 days ago I received my G7+ ThinQ!
Well-
1/Oneplus is jack of all trades-master of none. POCO has 'settled' it now! op6 has better display(OLED),better asthetics, much better updates and developer support, better fast charging.DONT WAIT FOR OP6T IF YOU LOVE 3.5 MM!
2/Asus 5Z is better in software support and better battery life.G7 beats it in all other department.
3/POCO F1 is the real threat! IR unlock is dope! better temparture management, much better battery life and finally the price difference!!!
4/VIVO nex S has notchless better display, better battery(maybe)..sound output(dedicated sirus logic DAC and 3 amp modules) is more enjoyable than LG,s 'sabre QUAD DAC' but audiophiles will prefer LG.
5/NOKIA-sirroco?avoid... SAMSUNG-S8? must avoid... SONY-XZ series? FORGET THIS BRAND,they stated that their phones r waterproof but quoted me 11K for my Xperia Z1(once upon a time...sad story)..this brand is even worse than sammy in pricing now! *Huawei P20 pro has LECIA triple cams,so best in class camera but way out of budget*

NOW coming to the point, I chose LG after many many reviews and thinking and I am very glad that I made the right descision!
G7 has-

1/best in class loud speaker(table rattling effect,u have to experience it!) and 3.5 mm audio output.no other phone but VIVO NEX S comes close!
2/very good camera quality-great wide angle pics and superb HDR video recording. see this to get idea-
3/best LCD display of the market.Dolby Vision/HDR10 compliant.IT has RGBW colour gamut which shows white colour 35% more efficiently than other LCDs,saving battery life and gosh! Its too bright..1000nits.
4/IP68 dust/water proof (up to 1.5m for 30 mins)and MIL-STD-810G compliant(dust resistant) which no other phone offers.
5/has USB 3.1,without notch its 18:9(means notch area is extra),can take memory card(extra storage),sound recording(both normal and during vdo-recording)is best in class,MQA audio support which no one has(audiophile stuff),WPC&PMA wireless charging(again,no one has).

summing up,I think LG G7 is best for 40K. BUT still I think "2 pocoF1 for 42K is better than all!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :D :p :D

Personal experience, overall LG G7 is better. camera performance consists still image-day+HDR+LOWlight and VDO-HDR+non HDR, stabilization and many more aspects count as far as I know.

Like OP6. We brothers(he has OP6 and me G7)started using from morning...both played PUBG for 2+ hours.wifi always on. down to 4% after 17 hours! I think on moderate usage it will last a day.

@polupoka Vivo phones aren't worth it just because of OS which starts lagging after a year or two (like Touchwiz used to till S5).

Samsung S8, Nokia & Sony XZ2 just need a better price, that's it. I would say if S8 at priced under 35k it would be a great choice for anyone who needs a compact phone but won't be gaming (gaming isn't the top priority). S8 still has a great camera & I didn't observe any difference between it & S9's camera, so I'm pretty sure it beats G7 (it is better than OP6 as I have checked that myself).

I agree that Poco is what OP was supposed to be.

And please don't use underlines like that.

Hmmm....removed underlines....:)
I agree with you about samsung phones that it needs a better price. nokia 8 is already priced down..hope nokia N9 with penta camera evolves the phone market!( I still have my pureview 808 preserved, sometimes charge it for 4 hours and use for 30 minutes, found no battery :( )
