are power banks from accessory companies safe?

not every company who makes smartphone makes power banks as well so which brand is safe to use for smartphones? I would like to buy one under Rs 1000

MI or ambrane should be safe enough. try to avoid unbranded local ones that you get in footpath

Check reviews online to see if it supports fast charging. Cause that can be a bummer when actually using the powerbank.

Remember that all companies except BBK (oppo, vivo, OP, realme, iQoo) ones use USB PD fast charging tech. Heck, I have seen OP selling USB PD fast chargers which doesn't fast charge their own devices, reverts to 10W in such cases.

have been using mi 20000 mah for quite some time, works fine. this is 3rd one, sister used first 2 for some time and then donated them to others who are using them. 3rd one is working fine except one issue that it stopped charging itself through type c port but it charges mobile through it.
