I AM VERY MUCH INTRESTED IN BUYING A PROJECTOR INSTEAD OF LCD MONITER NOW I AM USING 17 INCH LG TFT MONITER BUT I WANTA BIG SCREEN JUST LIKE SAMSUNG 730MP 25 INCH OR BIG BUT ALL TFT ARE LARGE THAN 25 INCHES ARE MORE EXPENSIVE NOT A SINGLE ONE IS UNDER 60000/- SO I DECIDE TO BUY A PROJECTOR FOR ALL MULTIMEDIA USES ALSO WITH COMPUTER USE.AND I CAN SPEND 1 LAKHS FOR THAT.
SO PLEASE TELL ME WHICH IS RIGHT CHOISE FOR ME LCD TFT OR PROJECTOR. ARE THE PROJECTOR WILL GIVE ME MORE PLEASURE THAN TFT COMPAREING WITG FEATURES, BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST AND IMAGE QUALITY.
AND WHICH IS BEST MODEL FOR ME, IS THERE ANY MODEL WITH INBUILD DVD PLAYER.
PLEASE SUGGEST A GOOD DVD PLAYER WITH DETAILS AND AND PRICES. Digit April issue had a comprehensive article abt Projectors, and according to the magazine article, the Best Buy was the SHARP XR-10S which costs around 70k.The cheapest available are arnd 50k from Acer and Hitachi. But that seems to be costlier than a 25 inch TFT.
My advice to u would be to get a 29 inch LCD TV for around 20k and then use the TV-out{S-out} port and use it as a monitor . the resolution might be a problem, but thats the cheapest solution i can think of right now.

But lemme tell you, if money is not a problem (or u could compensate on your demands), then go for a larger LCD screen rather than a projector. The best performance could be ahieved through that only. Projectors need space and other arrangements, plus the work feasibility is decreased.

Frankly you have a very hefty account I would say. Your rig comes to around 2 lacs including the projector. Really impressive. Be careful as taxman cometh.
