Xperia C price is very likely to drop to 18K in coming weeks given its 'cold' reception among users so far, but not below that anytime soon. I would for Xperia L at 16k.(Its Dual core krait CPU beats Mediatek a7 quad cores easily)

Lenovo P780

Xperia L is the best performance phone in that price segment............. Ascend P1 has better screen & better camera than L (Performance is good, ~ Galaxy S2)

Battery life of Xperia L is just about average.. IF you are an intense app user, don't go for Xperia L.
In short, Battery lasts just about a day ( atleast for me .. )

Thank you so much people for your prompt replies...though thing i am concerned about is storage allocated for apps in xperia m...I don't know and want to root phone and direct transfer to external sd card is now prohibited so that mean I will need a phone having good internal sd card storage ..+ a capable chipset to run os and games.....after all this battery life (in particular standby) should be good ....well people what I was thinking is I save up some bucks and wait for nexus 5 which will be vfm
I know India launch for it might be quite late ..but my dad has foreign trips so he can get one for me that's no issue but only gamble would be warranty ..but I believe it would satiate my needs ;)
