AMD core info??

Hey ppl,
Im planning on buying an AMD 64 3200+ 939 processor.How do i check the core of a processor, since the dealers here dont know themselves.So how can we check just buy looking at the box of the processor.I would like to buy the Venice core.Which one is better Venice or Winchester??Pls help.

You can do so by chechking the serial number on the processor. For venice the last letters read BPOX in the serial number.

Venice is ofcourse better than winchester.

Yes check the serial no. and go for Venice core...its quite overclockable........don't go for winchester or claw hammer..
