Negative Experience Amazon India... Take the money and run or what?

Had (and continuing to have) a first ever *B*A*D experience with Amazon India. Ordered SSD (prepaid)., 1 week since order and still not even shipped.

Also, to boot, seller is Appario Retail (i.e. Amazon themselves)., and the item is Amazon fulfilled. What gives?

There is no place on the site where I can see an option to raise a complaint either. Still waiting as it now shows delivery date pushed back by one week later. If it doesn't work out, it's bye bye to Amazon!

*edit for typos

Haven't you tried chat option,it is there in account settings--contact/help link I think? Also just for future reference,if you want to buy ssd then order it from onlyssd(ssd selling division of primeabgb). They are official distributor of many ssd brands in India.Their online status update service is not good(may show order status processing even at the day of delivery) or in rare cases you may need to call them just to confirm whether they have shipped(sometimes happen around holidays/long weekends) but in most cases their service is good & price even better.

There is an option to contact customer care.
You can opt for chat option or ask them to call (you click 'call' button on their site, and you will get a call on your number instantly).

If they pushed the shipping by one week, probably they can't do much to make it to deliver quicker I guess.

No, it doesn't work that way. It connects me to an automated IVRS system. No way to make contact with a human till it is allotted to someone for delivery it seems.

Also, the issue is they took the money a week ago and till not it has not been shipped - i.e. it is not delayed in transit., it has never left the seller. I'm now worried they may make me wait for a week and then cancel the order all by themselves. Waiting and watching for now.

I have done it before, that's how it works. or at least that's how it worked few months ago. Try it during working hours, not in the middle of the night. Customer care executives work in the day time.
Yeah, I understood that part, they didn't pack/courier yet.
Yes, there is a possibility that they come up with a reason and cancel the order, but I find it's thin.

As I anticipated, it got shipped today and I was finally able to get through to a person, who mentioned it was them actually waiting to obtain the item from their sources.

P. S. to your above post, I didn't call them in the middle of the night earlier or now, only during the morning working hours (Don't presume things.).

I'm very grateful they didn't cancel the order. (It's also happened before, but not with Amazon fulfilled items).

@whitestar_999 thanks for the suggestion., will try it next time.

^ No offense meant buddy.
We often miss something right in front of our eyes. It happened to me and it happened to many of our digitians.
I used that call feature every week for 5 weeks straight, always someone picked up.
