No, I am not an employr.
Rather I am a +2 student looking for people who are addict to Vb Programming.
I don't have any specific problem but I regularly get some hiccups in VB the latest being some error in ODBC setup and resouce files (that's what VB says.
So, if you like/know/are an expert in VB programming please reply to this post. It doen't matter whether your VB is 4.0,5.0,6.0,7.0,.Net.... ,you should only be someone who together with me cam form at least a small VB community.

BTW, for n00b Vb is Visual Basic

Isnt it clear ? he asked that its not a problem if u have any version of VB, jus tell him the cause of the error...

he did not mix up the versions, coz VB .NET is different and v4 is different

Also, u may like to know the difference between "&" and "," AND and COMMA.
Commas are used to separate and not mix as u mentioned

And about the n00b thing u mentioned, not all are aware of what "VB" is so if u know dont think others too will know... :roll:

Finally @author - when does the error come, can u give some more clarity on whether it comes on running ur program due to some miscode or is like a installation fault of VB.NET ?

I know that I am too late for a post.

Tis coz I was busy in making a project and hey that's in VB.

If you are intersted in my Vb problem,
The setup file and resource file of ODBC component are of differrent versions.

Thus whwnever i add any Database related designer it gives an error specifying just what i wrote above.


In an old version of Msdn(Jan-2006) this error was a bug in some version Visual Foxpro.

The files specified are something like ssccc.dll and sscnt.dll (well i don't remember the actual names coz i have become habituated to ignore it.)

You have not claerly mention the error and don't mix foxpro with vb because error numbers may be same but errors are different .

Its an anime character thats edited and resized to suite my need. After searching for several months, finally I chose this one as I felt it expresses myself closely. If u want a good avtar, its best if u make it urself, it will be unique too.
