how to tranfer files from pc to androif with airdroid and where do they get saved,using win 8 and moto g 2 new fgen
Open airdroid on mobile
It will show a address like *192.168.1.12
Open that address in browser
On mobile accept (click allow)
Click files/Explorer icon on the browser
Select sdcard or internal memory folder
Drag and drop now

Step 1: Create hotspot
Step 2: Connect PC to hotspot (Note: It should not show 'limited access', but 'connected')
Step 3: Navigate to the address provided by Airdroid (eg. 192.33.46.2:8890)
Step 4: 'Confirm' the established link on your phone
Step 5: Forget the phone
Step 6: Open up 'Files' (or something similar) on web interface (PC)
Step 7: Now drag n drop files as you wish
Finally, if you're rooted, use SDFix to allow write access to your external SD card (if present). That's all.

there are two modes in which u can transfer PC to Android or Android to PC
1.USB tethering
2.WiFi Tethering
In airdroid just open Tethering > USB tethering (connect phone via USB) and then open Firefox/Chrome etc and go to the url displayed on Airdroid App
that's it u will have full access to your phones data...just drag/drop files in file manager (in Airdroid UI)
the other mode WiFi is also same except u will have to select Hotspot tethering and connect to the WiFi hotspot and open the IP address in browser.

Try deleting the PC and then refresh the list. Should work as it works for me.
